About.com Thinks Our Lunch Is "Beyond Belief"

Zeke Quezada, the about.com guide dedicated to Las Vegas Travel, dined at Society on Friday, April 30, 2010. He's posted his impressions on the website. Among them, he describes our dishes as flavorful and feels the meal should be eaten slowly to "completely appreciate the experience." He includes lovely pictures of his meal and zones in on a few highlights:
  • Mac & Cheese Bites and Grandma Rose's Meatballs
  • Trenne Pasta
  • Donuts for the Table

Society's a Must Eat Place for a Girls' Getaway

Planning a girls' getaway to Las Vegas? According to an article posted on www.azcentral.com, Society is the place to eat. Reasons include our chic interior, Mac 'N Cheese Bites, and the XXXL Chocolate Cake. The article also recommends place to shop and stay in cities like San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

Celebrity Spottings Over the Weekend

Society was a destination for the famous this weekend.

On Saturday, May 1, Conan O'Brien came in before his show. He really enjoyed our pretzels and chowed down on the lobster roll. O'Brien also invited 4 fans whom he had met earlier to sit with him.

On Sunday, May 2, CNN analyst Jame Carville sat down for breakfast. Lisa Kudrow also came in later in the day for a quiet meal with a few guests. Her menu item of choice was a Caesar salad.

Do You Have Your Reservation for Mother's Day Yet?

Mother's Day is just around the corner on Sunday, May 9. From 5pm-closing that day, we will be offering a special 3 course menu that features a choice of entree, which offerings include Maine Lobster & Jumbo Crab Pot Pie, Surf & Turf, and Trenne Pasta. The menu will cost $45 per person and all mothers will receive a complimentary flower.

A Visit to Three Square

Chefs Kim Canteenwalla and Sean Kahlenberg, along with General Manager John Merrill, visited Three Square Food Bank a few days ago. They participated in a cooking demo featuring our tomato soup to help raise funds and awareness for Three Square. Elaine Wynn was a large part of the demo, interacting with Chef Kim and discussing facts about childhood hunger and those less fortunate than us.

Elizabeth Blau is Featured in This Month's Vegas Magazine

Elizabeth Blau, one of Society's co-operators, is interviewed on pages 76-77 of the April issue of Vegas Magazine. In it, she talks about her personal style including make-up she likes, what she's inspired by, and tips for entertaining. She also makes a special nod to her husband, Executive Chef Kim Canteenwalla, by saying anything he cooks is her favorite meal.
